This is where you can meet the characters of my story. Read if you'd like.
The Main Characters.
Erika Hayes.
She is about twenty-two years old. She was born into a wealthy family in Newark, New Jersey. She's a very beautiful woman, and uses that fact to her advantage. She's not a very nice person, and uses manipulation to get what she wants. She's been estranged from her family since the age of twelve, when she lost her virginity. Her parents kicked her out of the house, and sent her to live with her aunt in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She attended a private middle school, but went on to graduate at a public high school because her aunt thought that would be best for her. She's recently completed her senior year in college with a degree in veterinary science.
David St. James
He is about twenty-three years old. He was born into a middle class family in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and met Erika when he was about thirteen because of a scholarship he received to go to the most prestigious private school in Elizabeth. He grew up with his father and four brothers, and has no memory of his mother because she left the family when he was only three years old. He spent the majority of his teenage years trying to be with Erika, and succeeded only once during their sophomore year of college, and the relationship lasted only five months causing David to go into a deep depression when Erika refused to talk to him in any way whatsoever. He recently graduated the University of Maryland at College Park and graduated at the top of his class with a degree in journalism.
Suzanne Thompson
She is about twenty-one years old and is pursuing a career in business and finance at the University of Maryland. She met David after she transferred from a college in her home state of Florida. She grew up in an upper-middle class family in Tampa, Florida. She’s very much in love with David and worries about him when he goes into his depression spells.
Kyle Thompson
He is a thirty-one year old police officer, with a wife and twin sons. He is the older brother of Suzanne and dislikes the man she wants to marry in every way possible. He's a very caring and handsome man who worries about his family every second of every day. He loves his little sister Suzanne and doesn’t want to see her get hurt, because he took care of her like a father when their parents died in a car accident when she was only ten years old.
